About not posting from the road....i forgot: Whitney's gone Macintosh, baby. So while Tara gets herself ready, I coaxed little Anna over for a photo. And we look like this:
I do have to say, and not because I like my friend Tara, and need a place to stay here whilst in So. Cal., that she has great frickin' kids. Seriously. You want to be around her kids because they're really great kids. It makes me miss my kids. Sigh.
Anyhoo…saw Martha Stewart last night and it was nice and all, but in terms of presentations, she's no Stacy Julian. Sorry. She's not even in the same league. It was weird to expect more somehow. Rather than a bunch of slides (with no dissolves or smooth transitions of any kind) taken from the pages of her magazine. I wanted more. I wanted…inspiration. Call me selfish.
Also got to pop into a Two Peas gathering, and it was fun to see old friends, and meet some new ladies as well.
So in a bit, we'll head out to the show. It's amazing to be in place where you hop in the car, in your pajamas, with no shoes on, to drive your kids to school. Weird. Where are the snow pants? you know?
Californication, indeed.
