i'm so proud of my friend…
…my friend, Tara Whitney.
To see someone fulfill their wildest dream…to make a career out of a passion. To use their gifts to give breathtakingly real slices of reflected life back to people…well that's just cool. Chris Ford did a beautiful job executing this vision.
If you have a chance, you should check it. The photo galleries will make you sigh, and smile.
Go Tara Whit-nay.

That is an amazing web-site. My kids and I just sat and stared for 10 minutes at it. Girl has got game.

I sat and looked at every page last night. SO happy for her, it is absolute happiness on a stick. LOVE it!

wish she lived closer to me.... we just got the first batch of flyers from local photographers - looking for our business - taking photos of my high school senior. Apparently that's a big deal here.
The brochures were awful - all the shots looked like the kids were auditioning for playboy.
Nothing wholesome.
Nothing real-life.
Nothing clean & simple & true.
looking forward to seeing my dd's reaction, when she sees the brochure (she'd already told me she wants a real photo, not a studio shot)

I spent a nice chunk of yesterday watching her images in a slide show. That girl is magic.

I am so glad you made the mistake of posting on Donna's blog. When you took a break from blogging ---I well...stopped reading. I am so glad you are back. You bring a little serenity to my crazy.

Sorry to piggy back on another topic, but Cathy, did you know your blog was nominated at Blogger's Choice Awards? Silly but fun! I was looking to vote for someone else's NSBR blog, and I looked for yours -- just in case. You were nominated! By someone else! I have no idea who, but he/she obviously has fabulous taste.
Now you have a vote. That was, like, the easiest choice I've made since, like, the last Presidential election. ;)
If you'd like to see your nomination, here's the URL (I hope):

Have a fabulous week!
