Long live New Zealand
I cannot, and I repeat, cannot get enough of Jemaine and Bret. And I don't even have HBO.
Seriously. And an intense love for all things Bowie doesn't hurt.

Did Yoda die? I haven't gotten to that part yet.

These guys are the only reason to watch HBO. And probably the best show on tv right now. They freakin' crack me up! I love seeing/hearing them attempt to rap - nothing is more cringe/laugh worthy than that!!! I love the fact that these guys are unabashedly what Spinal Tap would be if they were less successful, less egotistical and lived in their parents basement still. Love it!!!!
Posted by: Nicole | July 24, 2007 at 08:03 PM
oh my goodness yes - Business Time is definitely a favorite - I laugh until tears fall every time!
Off to watch it again now in fact...

OK....you HAVE to get HBO. Flight of the Conchords is so hilarious. At first I thought it was just going to be a too-long Saturday Night Live skit....but it is actually much funnier. I am in love with Jemaine.
FYI - The clips on the HBO site are actually edited...they are longer and include more laughs on the show. Another reason to get HBO.

The group did a BBC2 6-part radio show a couple of years ago. It seems like most of the songs and stories thus far on HBO have come from that. It's nearly all been used up now though. The one and only NEIL FINN was one of the main characters. Hilarious little bits he did. You can read about the series here.
or download it from amazon here.
Even though a lot of it seems like a repeat, still well worth listening to :)
FOTC is the thing that got me to comment after being a dedicated, but anonymous reader for quite a long while.
Can't tell if my links will work so I may just have to leave 2 comments!

Jemaine and Bret rock. Bowie rocks. How about the passport camera? I almost peed myself I laughed so hard. And when Murray said, "We need to this thing called a photo shoot..." Ah, rock and roll...

Love these guys! HBO is worth it for Flight of the Conchords, as well as Bill Maher...who returns in August.

I am proud to say I have had HBO for years. To entertain me, you have to make me laugh. That's all, just laugh. And I will be a loyal fan until the laughter stops. And then I move on. But, oh the Chonchords. HipHopapotamus? that's brilliant! Just have Jemaine say "Penguin" several times and I melt like butter, a giggling pat of melty butter...I wonder if I could download "Do you remember the penquins?" as my cell phone ring?
