make an assessment
Just returning from a girls weekend in Southern California. Spent the weekend at the lovely miss Emily Falconbridge's home, with a group of lovely girls who know me, and they've seen meh, and they love meh.
And if that makes no sense to you, watch this. You might be like, "What the hay?" But if you give it time to settle into your brain, you may find it as insanely funny as it truly is, and you may find youself running around the house saying, "I'm OLD GREGGGGGGGGGGGGG" just like we did on this past weekend. Good times, people.

ummm. Hmmm. scary, sick, and a little funny.

I am deeply disturbed and can't believe I watched it to the end. I will probably have nightmares. Seriously. I have no idea where the humorous parts are.
Still a fan.

Posted by: Michelle | November 19, 2007 at 05:05 PM
Ah, hah! The Mighty Boosh - such a classic piece of television entertainment.
My favourite episode is the one where they sing the song about all the different types of soups. Too funny...

I think that is the weirdest thing I have ever seen... need a cigarette!

Do you ever look back on a weekend with your girlfriends and laugh because you know that being with your friends, your real friends, let's the little, crazy, goofy girl out? It's like...for that little amount of time, you don't have to be a mommy, a wife, or a professional. You can just be you. Yeah...that's what I got from old greeegggg.
Posted by: Deena | November 19, 2007 at 07:37 PM
please tell me that drugs were involved before you started watching that... whatever that was. Or maybe you posted the wrong video by change? I'm old, greegggggggg.

Posted by: Penny | November 19, 2007 at 07:56 PM
Hmmm, still deciding what I think about that one. Two minutes in, funny, six minutes in, weird.

Great to see you're watching comedy from the right side of the Atlantic! Have you discovered Armstrong & Miller? This is one of my favourite sketches:

Hahaha!! Just when I thought you couldn't get any cooler, you go and add The Mighty Boosh!! I wasn't sure anyone outside the UK would get it, afterall most people IN the UK don't get it, but I love it!! Noel Fielding (who plays old greeeg there) is seriously cool and strangely alluring (without the seaweed and the tutu) honest!!
You rock Cathy! :)

LOL!!
Posted by: Kip | November 20, 2007 at 08:26 AM
ok - that was AWESOME!. seriously. i'm not one to "pass on" much - but this madness must be shared in order to spout this stuff around the house or office and others to chime in or laugh. thanks for having mutual tastes!

"My favourite episode is the one where they sing the song about all the different types of soups. Too funny..." You HAVE to find a video of the soup song, it is truly classic!

Posted by: Em | November 20, 2007 at 11:44 AM
