before i go…
Some of you probably already read The Pioneer Woman and now how dang funny she is. I'm pretty new to her site, and enjoying it quite a bit.
And I know it's somewhat immature, but this made me laugh real good.
Off to Utah.

I totally love the Pioneer Woman - that was FUNNY! Warning: if you still are trying to minimize the muffin top, do NOT go to PW's cooking site. Big mistake. Big. Lots of yummy stuff made with real butter. Don't do it!

Ree is awesome, isn't she...I have been a loyal reader for about 6 months now. She's one of my biggest sources of daily humor as well as photography inspiration.

Cathy - don't you love PW? I found her a few months ago. I was drawn to her photography of her family working cattle because I myself grew up on a cattle ranch and now living in the city, her photos made me really homesick (but in a good way). I love her 'black heels to tractor wheels' stories. Good stuff!

I have loved her site for a long time now. She's great. I also love her recipe site, The Pioneer Woman Cooks.

'k...I at first was deeply offended that a mom would so blantantly exploit her poor kid with a speech impediment...but the thought of you cracking up watching that toally made me crack up...so we're ALL going to hell in a handbasket!

Hi, Cathy,
I just ran across this article -- Dave Grohl's Principles of a Happy, Successful Life -- and had to share - especially since he mentions Neil Young! :)

Enjoy!

How have I not known about Pioneer Woman before? You - I check religiously! THANK YOU for the sound clip and the link! And that food - oh it looks dangerous.

Oh dear, I just lost many hours to that PW site! So funny, thanks for the link.

Thank you for the link. Fantastic. a bit of my story too. I always thought of myself with black suits and heels in a big city (i am a lawyer...) and I have been founding myself for the last 2 years and a half, still a lawyer, but in east africa, driving a 4x4 in dirt tracks, enjoying flip flops and loving going camping in the wild with lions and elephants as neighbours!
Thank you so much for sharing this link Cathy!

Never heard of Pioneer Woman or her blog before your post & now I'm addicted. I should be mad at you because I'm probably not going to be very productive at work today (too busy reading every installment of "Black Heels to Tractor Wheels: A Love Story"), but I'm not. Thanks for the link.

Oh my goodness, I didn't listen to the 'juice bag' link before I posted that comment above - that is 'tears-streaming-down-my-face-from-laughing-so-hard funny' & I'm still at work, so my hand was firmly clamped over my mouth to stifle the sound.
