the 2,920 day photo project & free stuff
Have you seen this?
Sort of gives a whole new perspective on the old 365 photo project concept (and mildly annoying techno tunage.)
How did he keep the same expression for eight years, that's what I want to know. I think he got cuter over time, too.
IN OTHER NEWS
At around 1 a.m. in the morning on New Year's Day, we were hanging out with a few of our neighbors and someone asked Dan how he and I met. It's so sweet to hear him tell the story. Because it's pretty much exactly how I tell the story. It was nice to hear because sometimes, I don't always get along with him the way I should. It's a reminder that even when we are shuffling around in the book of life, we really did start on the same page. (I know, not the best metaphor I've come up with to date, but I think it makes enough sense for a Monday morning.)
And with that in mind, there's a cool new Kit of the Month designed by my friend, Robin Johnson, called "The Greatest Love Story Ever Told." I have one that just arrived last friday, sitting patiently on my table, and am looking forward to digging in, and reliving the story of me and Dan. He gets to put his thoughts into it as well. It's a cute chipboard book, that comes in a tin, with all the scrapbooking goodness you need to complete the album. All that's missing is your story.
If you'd like me to send you one, free of charge, just post here and I'll draw a winner sometime tonight, cool?
Cool.
{Edited to add: I've got two kits to giveaway, so don't be shy, scrapbookers of America. Toss your name in!}
{Edited again: Oh, I didn't mean to say JUST America. Dang it! I mean the entire WORRRRLD! International scrapbookers, we embrace and celebrate YOU!)
{Edited thrice-fold: I also hate to exclude non-scrapbookers, so all you whittlers out there, come on! why not try to win this kit?}
{Last edit, i PROMISE.... will close comments by 6:30 central standard time. Winners drawn shortly thereafter.}

Love being on the same page as Joe. We started dating in high school (over in Hudson, Cathy, you should know where that is!), in 1980, married in '87, just celebrated 20 yrs married (and 27 of knowing each other and our inlaws!). Love the shared history!

Hi Cathy! I think that kit is great. My DH and I met under some different circumstances (I crashed a wedding) - it's a story I have not yet told in my scrapbooking as I want it to be perfect. Hence, my word for 2008 - SIMPLIFY!
