Project Life, Week Twenty-Eight

OBSERVATIONS: I'm a day late posting this week. The whole week has felt behind from the get go. I usually put my Project Life pages together on Sunday afternoon, but last Sunday we were up at our family cabin on Gull Lake and my computer and photo printer where nowhere to be found, thankfully. We headed up for a quiet weekend which included a funeral for Dan's great aunt Felix. Subsequently, nearly all of my photos are from a 24-hour period. I love how that can happen during a week in which you take very few photos. Shall we take a look-see?

Aidan brought one of her best friends up for the weekend and they slept in a small cottage right on the water, just down the hill from the house. My favorite thing of the weekend? Boat knitting. That's a first.

In other news, Cole got a cell phone.

I couldn't resist taking a screen shot of his first call to me. That, and saving his first text exchange. Oh, the things we scrapbookers love to save.

Here's the recap card for the week:

And that is all I wrote for Week 28. Have a great weekend!

I could totally get into knitting again if it was always on a boat!

In our family, old iPhones have gone down to the various grandchildren in time. Love how that works!

My son is just about the same age as Cole--I think maybe a few months older? This was the year William got his own phone--just in time for a trip to Disneyworld with our church youth group. Tough life, I tell ya. Suddenly they are teenagers (or almost) going off on their own. weird.

Love how you incorporated the text messages in your layout. What a great idea! I just signed up for your Ten tips for better type class and am assuming as a digi scrapper I can use all my Designer Digitals products to satisfy the supply list. Not gonna lie it's going to be tough waiting until September for your class! :)

Yes! You can! Happy to have you in class!

I'm so glad to see boat knitting exists!~~ We have a sailboat and I have resisted taking my knitting. I was thinking yesterday that crochet might be acceptable onboard. ;) Awesome layouts~

Is "Under pressure" also his ringtone for you? Like "you better be good because Mama is calling"? :-D

grand layout - tell aiden i LOVE the polka dot bikini :>

I love your week in review. It is a nice alternative to the regular week by week cards.
