Project Life, Week Thirteen, the end of the first quarter

W13open

Yes, I break my Project Life into quarters. Literally. This is what it looks like on my hard drive:

I can't help it. I've got a mind for business and a bod for sin. (If you can name that movie, you win special consideration! For what, I don't know, but you'll have the PRIDE of knowing that YOU know.)

Shall we dive into the end of the quarter spread?

A little detail on one of the images: Aidan turned 18 in week 13 and one of her very clever girlfriends gave her the book you see here:

The best part? She cut out a bunch of pages (read: altered book arts, y'all!) and filled the hollowed out space with an assortment of pens. Too bad, I could've read a few of those chapters. Especially the ones that address when my body spontaneously sprouts owl feathers  and wings. And talons. And smaller, perkier breasts. Menopause, I tell ya. It's just ONE surprise after another.

It's hard to believe we welcome Spring with a snow fall, but that's how we roll in the Upper Midwest.

And that's all I wrote for Week Thirteen.

You crack me up - Working Girl?? Couldn't resist guessing...

Definitely it has got to be Melanie Griffith in Working Girl!

Working Girl-super funny movie.

Working Girl ~ I just bought it this week on DVD. Fab film and excellent opening song from Carly Simon. I'm visiting NYC next week and will listen to Let the Rivers Run on my NanoPod whilst riding the Staten Island Ferry!! Who knew I was so rock 'n' roll?!

Welcoming Spring w/ snow is something my family & I did for the first time ever this year. When given a very short list of options for our Spring Break vacation my bizarre son chose Minneapolis of all places (even with Sea World & Bush Gardens on the list... WHAT!?!?). Of course, the fact that it made the short list at all for a Spring Break trip just goes to show he got his weirdness honest. Anyway, just last week we were up in your neck of the woods riding roller coasters and water slides at MOA & Water Park of America. It was a fun trip to be honest, but the drive home last Friday in 6" of snow & ice wasn't. We made it safely home though, so that's all that matters. :)

Love the WTF pin. There is a little town in Western Colorado named Fruita and they are trying to market themselves to tourists, especially mtn. bikers. Their new logo is WTF, welcome to Fruita, but they make the bumper stickers to just read WTF.

Working Girl! One of the best movie lines evah!

You are the winner! Of, well, just pride! LOL!

I love everything about this post ... including the fact that I knew the quote LOL You definitely crack me up!!! :)

Love the pages! And I need the WTF stamp!

Thats awesome.

Yep!

That mall is something, aint it? : )

Ha! The same thing happened in Seattle last year. We had snow two days before Easter. We had zero snow during winter (that would be crazy). It waited until spring. Lovely.

And, Working Girl. Everyone worth knowing should know the answer. ;)

LOVE Working Girl! Inspirational movie! I soooo wanted to be Melanie and Harrison would not go astray either ;)
